Tomohisa Yamashita

Tomohisa Yamashita (born April 9, 1985), often known by his nickname Yamapi, is a Japanese singer, actor, and television personality. Born in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan, he graduated from Meiji University and attended Horikoshi High School.

Yamashita began his career in the entertainment industry as a member of the talent agency Johnny & Associates. He rose to prominence as a member of the J-pop group NEWS before transitioning to pursue various solo musical and acting endeavors.
