Tokyo Dokushin Danshi

Tokyo Dokushin Danshi (Japanese: 東京独身男子), also known by its English title Tokyo Bachelors, is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi in 2019. The series explores the lives and perspectives of three successful, unmarried men living in Tokyo as they navigate the complexities of modern relationships and the societal expectations surrounding marriage.

Plot

The story centers on three close friends who are satisfied with their single lifestyles but begin to re-evaluate their views on marriage. The protagonists include Taro Ishibashi, a 38-year-old bank employee; Reiya Miyoshi, a 37-year-old dentist; and Kazuhiko Iwakura, a 45-year-old lawyer. As they progress through their daily lives, the trio faces various personal and professional challenges that force them to confront their attitudes toward commitment.
