Toji (Korean: 토지), also known as The Land, is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from November 26, 2004, to May 22, 2005. The series is a major adaptation of the epic novel of the same name written by the acclaimed author Park Kyung-ri.

Background and Plot
The narrative centers on the life of Choi Seo-hee, a woman born into a wealthy family during a period of significant social and political upheaval in Korea. Following the death of her father and the loss of her family's land to a relative, Cho Jun-gu, Seo-hee is forced to navigate a challenging path to reclaim her heritage. Her journey involves escaping her hometown, building a new life as a merchant, and eventually seeking retribution against those who betrayed her family. Throughout her life, she is supported by Kil-sang, a man who remains a constant presence in her struggle.
