Plot Synopsis

The narrative follows Cheon Soo-Ho, the CEO of a restaurant and heir to a major conglomerate, who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. His life becomes inextricably linked with Seol Ji-Hyun, a woman whose life was shattered by a tragedy involving him. As Soo-Ho confronts his limited time, he attempts to make amends for the destruction he caused in Ji-Hyun's life, while Ji-Hyun struggles to cope with the sudden death of her younger sibling, which effectively halted her own sense of time and purpose.

Production

The series underwent several scheduling adjustments due to external programming, including the 2018 Asian Games and soccer broadcasts. The first script reading was held on April 28, 2018, at the MBC Broadcasting Station in Ilsan, South Korea. During production, lead actor Kim Jung-Hyun departed from the series due to health concerns, specifically citing struggles with eating and sleeping disorders. Consequently, the production team adjusted the script to conclude his character's arc earlier than originally intended.
