Time Renegades (2016 Film)
Time Renegades (Korean: 시간이탈자; RR: Shiganitalja) is a 2016 South Korean suspense-thriller film directed by Kwak Jae-Young. The film explores a supernatural connection between two men living in different eras who begin to experience each other's lives through their dreams.

Plot
The narrative is split between two timelines. In 1983, Ji-Hwan (Cho Jung-Seok), a music teacher, attempts to protect his fiancée, Yoon-Jung (Lim Soo-Jung), after she becomes entangled in a criminal case. In 2015, Detective Gun-Woo (Lee Jin-Uk) begins to experience visions of Ji-Hwan's life in the past. Through these dreams, Gun-Woo learns details about the 1983 case. He eventually meets So-Eun (Lim Soo-Jung), who bears a striking resemblance to Yoon-Jung, and the two collaborate to investigate the historical mystery.
Production
Principal photography for the film commenced on October 1, 2014, and concluded on February 1, 2015, with filming locations in Jongno, Seoul. The final scene recorded was set in the present day, depicting the first meeting between the characters Gun-Woo and So-Eun during a New Year's Eve celebration. This sequence involved approximately 200 extras. During the casting process, actor Kwak Dong-Yeon was initially selected for the role of Kang Seung-Bum but was later replaced by Lee Tae-Ri.
