Three Summer Night (2015 Film)

Three Summer Night (Korean: 쓰리 썸머 나잇) is a 2015 South Korean comedy film directed by Kim Sang-jin. The film centers on three friends who travel to Haeundae Beach in Busan for a weekend getaway, only to find themselves embroiled in a series of unexpected and problematic situations.

Plot

The story follows three protagonists, each facing personal and professional frustrations. Myung-seok (Kim Dong-wook) has spent eight years attempting to pass the bar exam. Dal-soo (Lim Won-hee) is a contract employee at a call center and an avid fan of a female idol group. Hae-goo (Son Ho-jun) works as a salesman for an erectile dysfunction medication. Seeking a reprieve from their daily lives, the trio travels to the popular Haeundae Beach, where their vacation quickly descends into chaos.

Production

Principal photography for the film commenced on August 21, 2014, at Haeundae Beach in Busan, South Korea, and concluded in October 2014. The film was released in South Korean theaters on July 15, 2015, with a total runtime of 106 minutes.
