Three Sisters (2021 South Korean Film)
Three Sisters (Korean: 세 자매; RR: Se Jamae) is a 2021 South Korean drama film directed and written by Lee Seung-won. The film centers on the lives of three siblings who struggle with personal traumas and domestic challenges, eventually confronting their past during a family gathering.

Plot
The narrative follows three sisters: the eldest, Hee-sook (Kim Sun-young); the middle sister, Mi-yeon (Moon So-ri); and the youngest, Mi-ok (Jang Yoon-ju). Each sister navigates significant personal difficulties: Hee-sook is a reserved housewife who receives a cancer diagnosis; Mi-yeon, a church choirmaster, faces a marital crisis after discovering her husband's infidelity; and Mi-ok, a playwright, struggles with her marriage to a divorced man and her role as a stepmother. The sisters' individual tensions culminate during a visit to their father's home for his birthday, where the arrival of their brother, Jin-seob, leads to a chaotic confrontation.
Production and Release
The film was directed by Lee Seung-won, who also wrote the screenplay. It was produced by Kim Sang-su and Moon So-ri. The film was released in South Korea on January 27, 2021, and distributed by Little Big Pictures. It has a runtime of 120 minutes.

Reception and Awards
The film received critical recognition for its performances. At the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2021, Moon So-ri won the award for Best Actress, and Kim Sun-young won the award for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, Kim Sun-young received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2021.
