Three Days (South Korean TV Series)

Three Days (Korean: 쓰리데이즈; RR: Sseurideizeu) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from March 5 to May 1, 2014. The political thriller, consisting of 16 episodes, was directed by Shin Kyung-soo and written by Kim Eun-hee. It occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot, succeeding My Love From the Star and preceding You're All Surrounded.

Plot

The narrative follows Han Tae-kyung (Park Yoo-chun), a dedicated presidential bodyguard. The story begins when South Korean President Lee Dong-whi (Son Hyun-joo) retreats to a private villa for a vacation. During his stay, three gunshots are fired, and the President subsequently disappears. Han Tae-kyung becomes the central figure in the search for the President, while simultaneously uncovering a complex conspiracy involving government officials and his own father's suspicious death.

Production

The production process for Three Days began with the first script reading in November 2013, held at the SBS Ilsan Production Center. The series was noted for its high-stakes political premise and action-oriented sequences involving the presidential security detail.
