The Worst of Evil

The Worst of Evil (Korean: 최악의 악; RR: Choiakui Ak) is a South Korean crime thriller television series that premiered on Disney+ in 2023. The series, directed by Han Dong-Wook and Park Geum-Bum, consists of 12 episodes and explores the complexities of an undercover drug investigation spanning South Korea, China, and Japan.

Plot

The narrative centers on Park Jun-Mo, a police officer who goes undercover to infiltrate a criminal organization known as the Gangnam Union. The organization is led by the charismatic Jung Gi-Cheul. As Jun-Mo deepens his involvement in the criminal underworld, his wife, Yu Eui-Jeong—also a police officer—becomes entangled in the same investigation, creating personal and professional conflict.
