The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun (Korean: 태양을 삼킨 여자; RR: Taeyangeul Samkin Yeoja) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from June 9 to December 12, 2025. The series consists of 125 episodes and was broadcast in the network's Monday-Friday 19:05 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Baek Seol-Hee (played by Jang Shin-Young), a single mother who leads a modest, contented life running a small restaurant while raising her daughter. Her life is upended by a traumatic incident in which her daughter is framed as the perpetrator of a crime. Driven by grief and a quest for justice, Baek Seol-Hee embarks on a path of revenge against those responsible for her daughter's predicament.
