The Witch (2025 South Korean Television Series)

The Witch is a South Korean television series that premiered on February 15, 2025, on the network Channel A. The drama, which spans 10 episodes, is directed by Kim Tae-Gyoon and is based on the webcomic Manyeo by Kang Pool, originally serialized on Kakao from June 10 to October 24, 2013.

Plot

The story follows Lee Dong-Jin (Jin Young), a specialist in data mining who majored in statistics specifically to assist Park Mi-Jung (Roh Jeong-Eui). The two were high school classmates, during which time Mi-Jung was ostracized and labeled a "witch" due to a series of unexplained accidents and deaths involving men who expressed interest in her. Ten years after graduation, Dong-Jin encounters Mi-Jung again. Having lived in isolation due to the belief that she is cursed, Mi-Jung expresses a desire to reconnect with society. Determined to help her, Dong-Jin applies his analytical skills to investigate the past incidents, aiming to prove that the misfortunes surrounding her are not caused by a supernatural curse.
