The Wind Blows (Korean: 바람이 분다; RR: Barami Boonda) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the JTBC network in 2019. The series, directed by Jung Jung-hwa and written by Hwang Joo-ha, explores the emotional complexities of a marriage affected by a life-altering diagnosis.

Plot

The narrative centers on Kwon Do-hoon (Kam Woo-sung) and Lee Soo-jin (Kim Ha-neul), a married couple whose relationship faces a significant crisis when Do-hoon is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Fearing for his wife's future and well-being, Do-hoon initiates a divorce. The story follows their lives after the separation and their eventual reunion six years later.

The series was produced for the JTBC Monday and Tuesday 21:30 time slot. It premiered on May 27, 2019, and concluded its 16-episode run on July 16, 2019. The production held its first script reading on March 21, 2019, in South Korea. The series followed Welcome to Waikiki 2 and was succeeded by At Eighteen.
