The Time We Were Not In Love
The Time We Were Not In Love is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from June 27 to August 16, 2015. The drama, which consists of 16 episodes, was broadcast in the Saturday and Sunday 22:00 time slot. It is an adaptation of the 2011 Taiwanese drama series In Time with You, which originally aired on Formosa TV.

Plot Synopsis
The story follows Oh Ha-na (played by Ha Ji-won) and Choi Won (played by Lee Jin-uk), two 34-year-old individuals who have maintained a close friendship for 17 years. Oh Ha-na is a confident career woman, while Choi Won works as an assistant purser for an airline. Throughout their long friendship, Choi Won has frequently supported Oh Ha-na during her personal and professional challenges. The narrative explores the complexities of their relationship as they navigate life and potential romantic developments involving other characters, such as the free-spirited pianist Cha Seo-hoo (Yun Kyun-sang) and cabin attendant Lee So-eun (Choo Soo-hyun).


Production
The series underwent several changes during its development phase. The initial Korean working title was The Time That I Loved You, 7000 Days, which was later shortened to The Time That I Loved You. The production team experienced internal shifts, including the replacement of screenwriter Min Hyo-jung with Jung Do-yoon and Lee Ha-na. Additionally, director Jo Soo-won briefly departed the project due to creative differences with the production company, iWillmedia, but returned two weeks later after the issues were resolved. The first script reading was held on May 10, 2015, at the SBS Ilsan Production Center.
