The Tiger: An Old Hunter's Tale (Korean: 대호; RR: Daeho) is a 2015 South Korean historical drama film written and directed by Park Hoon-jung. Set during the Japanese occupation of Korea, the narrative centers on the relationship between a legendary hunter and the last remaining tiger of the Joseon era.

Plot
The story follows Chun Man-duk, portrayed by Choi Min-sik, a former master hunter who has retired from his profession. As the Japanese military attempts to capture the last tiger in the Joseon region, Man-duk is drawn back into the conflict, leading to a confrontation that bridges the lives of the hunter and the beast.
Production
The film was produced by Sanai Pictures and distributed by Next Entertainment World. Principal photography commenced on December 15, 2014, in the Guryong Valley of Jirisan National Park, South Korea.

Reception and Awards
The film served as the opening selection for the 18th Udine Far East Film Festival in 2016. At the 53rd Daejong Film Awards in 2016, the film received the Best Technical Award, which was presented to Jo Yong-suk.
