The Target (2014 South Korean Film)
The Target (Korean: 표적; RR: Pyojeok) is a 2014 South Korean action thriller film directed by Chang. The film is a remake of the 2010 French thriller Point Blank, originally directed by Fred Cavayé.

Plot
The story follows Yeo-Hoon (played by Ryu Seung-Ryong), an ex-soldier for hire, and Tae-Joon (played by Lee Jin-Uk), a medical resident. The plot centers on a desperate situation where Tae-Joon's wife is kidnapped, forcing him to align with Yeo-Hoon to save her life.
Production
The film underwent a change in leadership during its pre-production phase. Director Juhn Jai-Hong was initially attached to the project but was removed due to creative differences between him and the production company, Yong Film. Principal photography commenced on October 17, 2013, with locations in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Production concluded on January 16, 2014.
