The Swindlers (2017 Film)
The Swindlers (Korean: 꾼; RR: Ggoon) is a 2017 South Korean crime thriller film directed by Jang Chang-won. The film centers on a group of con artists who collaborate with a prosecutor to track down a legendary fraudster who has reportedly died abroad.

Plot
Hwang Ji-sung (Hyun Bin) is a clever swindler who specializes in targeting other criminals. He orchestrates a plan to capture the notorious con artist Jang Doo-chil. To achieve this, he forms an unlikely alliance with Prosecutor Park Hee-soo (Yoo Ji-tae). The team includes fellow swindlers Ko Suk-dong (Bae Sung-woo), Choon-ja (Nana), and Chief Kim (An Se-ha). Their primary objective is to lure out Jang Doo-chil's right-hand man, Kwak Seung-gun (Park Sung-woong), to uncover the whereabouts of their target.
Production
The film's Korean title, Ggoon, is a suffix used to describe someone who is highly skilled or enthusiastic about a particular activity. The production process began with a script reading and a traditional gosa ritual for good luck on September 26, 2016. Principal photography commenced on October 1, 2016, and concluded on January 20, 2017. The film was distributed by Showbox and released in South Korea on November 22, 2017.
