The Stone (2014 South Korean Film)

The Stone (Korean: 스톤; RR: Seuton) is a 2014 South Korean drama film written and directed by Cho Se-Rae. The film explores the lives of two men from disparate worlds who find an unexpected connection through the board game Go.

Plot

The narrative centers on Min-Su (played by Cho Dong-In), a talented but directionless young Go player. His path crosses with Nam-Hae (played by Kim Roe-Ha), a small-time gang boss. Nam-Hae recognizes Min-Su's potential and intelligence, while Min-Su becomes increasingly drawn to the dangerous realities of the criminal underworld, leading to a complex relationship between the two.
