The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House (Korean: 솔약국집 아들들; RR: Sol yakgukjip Adeuldeul) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from April 11 to October 11, 2009. The series consists of 54 episodes and focuses on the personal lives, careers, and romantic entanglements of four brothers and their family.
Plot
The narrative centers on the Song family, specifically the four sons of the household. The eldest, Song Jin-Poong (Son Hyun-Joo), is a pharmacist who manages the family's pharmacy. His romantic life becomes a central plot point as he navigates a relationship with a lawyer named Lee Soo-Jin (Park Sun-Young). The second son, Song Dae-Poong (Lee Pil-Mo), is a doctor operating a clinic located above the family pharmacy. He shares a complex dynamic with a nurse named Kim Bok-Sil (Yoo-Sun), whose hidden background as a doctor is eventually revealed.
The third son, Song Sun-Poong (Han Sang-Jin), is a reporter at a broadcasting company who marries an actress named Oh Eun-Ji (Yu Ha-Na). Their marriage is complicated by the long-standing, often contentious relationship between their respective fathers. The youngest son, Song Mi-Poong (Ji Chang-Wook), is a student who finds his life changed when he takes in a friend's baby and the child's mother, who have nowhere else to live while the baby's father is serving in the military.
