The Slave Hunters, known in Korean as Chuno (Hangul: 추노), is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from January 6 to March 25, 2010. Directed by Kwak Jung-Hwan and written by Chun Sung-Il, the series consists of 24 episodes and was broadcast in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot.

Plot

Set during the Joseon Dynasty, the narrative centers on the social hierarchy of the era, specifically focusing on the nobi (slaves) and the Chuno Ggun (slave hunters). The story follows a slave hunter, played by Jang Hyuk, who is tasked with tracking down a runaway slave, portrayed by Oh Ji-Ho. The runaway slave, having been falsely accused of a crime, seeks to escape his status. Simultaneously, the protagonist searches for a woman from his past, played by Lee Da-Hae.

Production and Broadcast

The series occupied the KBS2 Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot, succeeding the drama IRIS. Following the conclusion of The Slave Hunters, the network began airing Cinderella's Stepsister on March 31, 2010.
