The Shining Eun-Soo

The Shining Eun-Soo (Korean: 빛나라 은수; RR: Bitnara Eun Soo) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS1. The series premiered on November 28, 2016, and concluded on May 26, 2017, spanning 125 episodes. It was broadcast in the Monday through Friday 20:25–21:00 time slot.

Plot

The narrative centers on the evolving relationship between two women who first encounter each other in a student-teacher dynamic. Seven years later, their lives become deeply intertwined when they marry into the same family as sisters-in-law. The situation grows more complex following the remarriage of their parents, which results in them becoming stepsisters.

Production

The series was directed by Kwak Ki-Won, with a screenplay written by Kim Min-Joo and Woo So-Yeon. During its development, the drama was known by the working title Geuraedo Saranghae, which translates literally to I Still Love You. The series replaced The Unusual Family in its time slot and was followed by Lovers in Bloom on May 29, 2017.
