The Secret Romantic Guesthouse (Korean: 꽃선비 열애사) is a South Korean historical drama series that aired on SBS from March 20 to May 16, 2023. The series consists of 18 episodes and was broadcast in the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot, succeeding the drama Trolley.
Plot
The story centers on Yoon Dan-O (played by Shin Ye-Eun), who manages the Ihwawon Inn. Once a woman of comfortable means, she becomes the family breadwinner, hosting scholars who have traveled to Hanyang to sit for civil service examinations. Among her guests are Kang San (Ryeo Un), Kim Shi-Yeol (Kang Hoon), and Jung Yoo-Ha (Jung Gun-Joo). The narrative takes a turn when Yoon Dan-O is presented with an opportunity to clear her family's debts if she can locate Lee Seol, the missing son of a deposed crown prince. The protagonists subsequently join forces to uncover the truth behind his disappearance.
