The School Nurse Files

The School Nurse Files (Korean: 보건교사 안은영; RR: Bogungyosa Aneunyoung) is a South Korean fantasy web series released on Netflix on September 25, 2020. The six-episode series is based on the 2015 novel Bogungyosa Aneunyoung by author Jung Se-Rang, who also wrote the screenplay. The series was directed by Lee Kyoung-Mi.

Plot

The story follows Ahn Eun-Young (played by Jung Yu-Mi), a school nurse who possesses the supernatural ability to perceive "jellies"—monsters formed from the residue of human desires. Armed with a toy knife and a BB gun, she works to eradicate these entities to protect the students at her school. She is joined by Hong In-Pyo (Nam Joo-Hyuk), a Chinese language teacher who possesses a unique energy that assists her in her mission.

The series features an ensemble cast centered on the staff and students of Monglyeon High School.
