The Scent (2012 Film)
The Scent (Korean: 간기남) is a 2012 South Korean suspense-thriller film that incorporates elements of comedy. Directed by Kim Hyung-Jun, the film was released in South Korea on April 11, 2012. Plot
The story follows Kang Sun-Woo, a detective who supplements his income by working as a private investigator. He is hired by a client named Kim Soo-Jin to photograph her husband during an extramarital affair. However, upon arriving at the scene to capture the evidence, Sun-Woo finds the husband dead. As a result, Sun-Woo becomes the primary suspect in a murder investigation led by Detective Han Gil-Ro. To clear his name, Sun-Woo must identify the actual killer.

The film was originally developed under the working title Yeoinui Hyanggi (여인의 향기), which translates to Scent of a Woman. Principal photography for the project commenced on August 27, 2011, and concluded on December 11, 2011. The film has a total runtime of 117 minutes.
