Plot Overview

The narrative follows Kang Tae-Joo, a detective possessing observational skills and intuition who experiences a demotion from Seoul back to his hometown of Gangseong. Seeking to restore his professional standing, he investigates a serial murder case occurring in the area. During his pursuit, he encounters Prosecutor Cha Si-Young. Although Kang Tae-Joo holds a deep personal aversion toward Cha Si-Young due to school bullying experiences, the two form an alliance to solve the murders. Cha Si-Young, an elite prosecutor with political aspirations, utilizes the high-profile investigation as a strategic vehicle for his career advancement.
