Plot

The story follows Doctor Young-Beom (Kim Byung-Chul), his wife Sun-Hee (Song Ji-Hyo), and their son Jong-Hoon (Jin Yu-Chan) as they relocate to Obok Village. The family seeks a fresh start following significant hardships: Sun-Hee is experiencing vision loss, and their son Jong-Hoon has been paralyzed from the waist down due to a car accident. Shortly after their arrival, Young-Beom encounters an elderly man (Kim Hak-Cheol) who claims to have cancer and subsequently brings him into his home. Following this event, Jong-Hoon experiences a sudden and unexplained recovery of his ability to walk.

Parallel to this, the narrative focuses on Chun-Seo (Kim Hieora), a single mother raising her son Min-Jae (Oh Han-Kyul) in the same village. When Min-Jae unexpectedly loses the ability to walk, Chun-Seo begins to suspect that her family's misfortune is linked to the miraculous recovery witnessed by the newcomers.
