The Real Has Come! (South Korean Television Series)

The Real Has Come! (Korean: 진짜가 나타났다!) is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS2 from March 25 to September 10, 2023. The drama was broadcast in the Saturday and Sunday 19:55 time slot, succeeding the series Three Bold Siblings and preceding Hyo-Sim's Self-Reliance.

Plot

The series follows the life of Oh Yeon-Doo, a single mother raising her child independently. Her path crosses with Gong Tae-Kyung, an obstetrician-gynecologist who has intentionally chosen to remain single. The two characters eventually enter into a fake relationship, which serves as the central premise of the narrative.

Production

The series was directed by Han Joon-Seo and written by Jo Jung-Joo. During the casting process, actor Kwak Si-Yang was initially selected to portray the lead character, Gong Tae-Kyung, but withdrew from the production due to scheduling conflicts.
