The Princess' Man
The Princess' Man (Korean: 공주의 남자; RR: Kongjooui Namja) is a 2011 South Korean television series broadcast on KBS2. Set during the Joseon Dynasty, the drama presents a fictionalized narrative inspired by the historical events surrounding the 1453 coup led by Prince Su-yang, who later ascended the throne as King Sejo.

Plot Overview
The story centers on the political turmoil of the mid-15th century. King Munjong, facing failing health, seeks to secure the future of his son, Prince Danjong, by aligning with the powerful official Kim Jong-seo. Meanwhile, the King's brother, Prince Su-yang, orchestrates a power grab to seize the throne for himself.
Amidst this instability, a romance develops between Kim Seung-yoo, the son of Kim Jong-seo, and Lee Se-ryung, the daughter of Prince Su-yang. Their relationship is complicated by the intense political rivalry between their families, which eventually leads to a tragic conflict as the coup unfolds.
Production
The series was directed by Kim Jung-min and Park Hyun-suk, with a screenplay written by Jo Jung-joo and Kim Wook. It aired on KBS2 from July 20 to October 6, 2011, occupying the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot. The drama followed Romance Town and was succeeded by Glory Jane.
