The Price of Confession (Korean: 자백의 대가; RR: Jabaekui Daega) is a South Korean thriller television series. The series is directed by Lee Jung-hyo and written by Kwon Jong-kwan. It is scheduled for release on Netflix.
Plot
The narrative follows An Yun-su (played by Jeon Do-yeon), an art teacher whose life is upended after she is accused of murdering her husband. While incarcerated, she encounters Mo Eun (Kim Go-eun), a fellow prisoner often referred to as a "witch" by others due to her perceived ability to discern the thoughts and feelings of those around her. The two women, both harboring secrets, form a dangerous alliance to navigate their circumstances.
Parallel to their story, Baek Dong-hun (Park Hae-soo) is a dedicated and principled prosecutor who investigates the case, testing his own professional ethics and honor. Meanwhile, An Yun-su's lawyer, Jang Jeong-gu (Jin Sun-kyu), a former boxer, works tenaciously to prove her innocence.
