The Policeman's Lineage (Korean: 경관의 피; RR: Gyunggwanui Pi) is a 2022 South Korean crime thriller film directed by Lee Kyoo-man. The film is based on the novel Keikan no Chi by Japanese author Joh Sasaki, which was serialized in the literary magazine Shosetsu Shincho between 2006 and 2007.
Plot
The story centers on Park Gang-yoon (played by Cho Jin-woong), the chief of a specialized police investigation team known for its high arrest rate. Park is characterized by his willingness to employ unconventional and often illegal methods to secure evidence and apprehend criminals. His approach brings him into conflict with Choi Min-jae (played by Choi Woo-shik), a principled rookie officer. Choi accepts a mission to infiltrate Park's team and monitor his activities, motivated by a desire to uncover secret information regarding his late father.
