The Package (South Korean TV Series)

The Package is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the JTBC network in 2017. The series consists of 12 episodes and was broadcast on Friday and Saturday nights at 23:00. The show was directed by Jeon Chang-Geun and Kim Jin-Won, with a screenplay written by Chun Sung-Il.

Plot

The story follows Yoon So-So (Lee Yeon-Hee), a travel guide working in France who leads a group of tourists on a package tour. Each traveler in the group arrives with their own personal history and motivations for the trip. San Ma-Roo (Jung Yong-Hwa) joins the tour after a recent breakup, while other members include a couple struggling with the dynamics of a long-term relationship, a stubborn older man, and a woman whose age remains a mystery to the rest of the group. As the tour progresses, the travelers, who initially intend to keep their personal lives separate, gradually form connections and develop relationships with one another.

Production

The series was filmed on location in France between September and October 2016. It premiered on JTBC on October 13, 2017, and concluded its run on November 18, 2017.
