The Ordinary Jackpot, also known by its literal Korean title Lotto Winner Also Goes to Work (Korean: 로또 1등도 출근합니다), is a South Korean television drama series scheduled for release in September 2026. The production is directed by Yoon Young-Bin, who also shares writing credits alongside Seo In-Ha.

Background and Source Material

The television series is adapted from the web novel titled Lotto 1deungdo Chulgeunhammida, authored by Seo In-Ha. The original web novel was serialized on Naver between November 15, 2019, and April 29, 2020.

Premise and Cast

The narrative centers on Gong Eun-Tae, played by Lee Jun-Hyuk, who leads Sales Team 5 at Hongseong International. Having striven for an unremarkable and stable life, Eun-Tae experiences a personal slump upon realizing the monotony of his diligent routine. His circumstances shift when he wins a top lottery prize of 1.3 billion won. Viewing the sum as insufficient to radically transform his lifestyle, he continues his employment, though the windfall gradually alters his perspective on daily life. Additional cast members include Seo Hyun-Woo as Yang Jun-Ho and Oh Dae-Hwan as Jung Seon-Hyeok.

The series is scheduled to air on the streaming platform TVING starting September 10, 2026, with releases on the television network tvN beginning September 14, 2026. On tvN, the program occupies the Monday and Tuesday 21:00 time slot previously held by My Bias, My Boss.
