The Midnight Studio
The Midnight Studio (Korean: 야한 사진관; RR: Yahan Sajingwan) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the ENA network in 2024. The series, which consists of 16 episodes, was broadcast on Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00, running from March 11 to May 6, 2024.
Premise
The story centers on Seo Ki-Joo, played by Joo Won, who operates a specialized photo studio. As the seventh owner of this establishment, his clientele consists exclusively of ghosts. Seo Ki-Joo is tasked with taking portraits of these spirits. His life changes when he enters into a partnership with Han Bom, a passionate lawyer portrayed by Kwon Na-Ra, who is known for her intolerance of injustice.
The studio is supported by two employees: Go Sung-Ho, played by Yoo In-Soo, who is responsible for bringing ghosts to the studio, and Baek Nam-Goo, played by Eum Moon-Suk, who manages various maintenance tasks.
Production
The series was directed by Song Hyun-Wook and written by Kim Yi-Rang. It occupied the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot on ENA, succeeding the drama Tell Me That You Love Me. Following the conclusion of The Midnight Studio, the time slot was taken over by the series Crash on May 13, 2024.
