The Master's Sun
The Master's Sun (Korean: 주군의 태양; RR: Joogoonui Taeyang) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from August 7 to October 3, 2013. The series blends elements of romantic comedy and horror, focusing on the relationship between a woman who can see ghosts and a wealthy, cynical shopping mall executive.

Plot
Tae Kong-sil (played by Kong Hyo-jin) lives a reclusive life after a mysterious accident leaves her with the ability to see and hear ghosts. Her life changes when she encounters Joo Joong-won (played by So Ji-sub), the arrogant and money-driven CEO of Kingdom, a large shopping mall. Kong-sil discovers that whenever she touches Joong-won, the ghosts around her vanish. This discovery leads her to seek him out, eventually forming a complex partnership as they deal with both business challenges and supernatural occurrences.
Production
The series was directed by Jin Hyeok and written by the Hong sisters, Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran. It originally aired in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot on SBS. The show was initially scheduled for 16 episodes but was extended to 17 episodes. Due to the Chuseok holiday, the broadcast schedule for episode 13 was adjusted to air on Thursday, September 19, 2013, instead of the originally planned Wednesday slot.
Casting changes occurred during pre-production; Park Hyung-sik of the boy band ZE:A was originally cast to play the younger version of Joo Joong-won. He withdrew from the role due to scheduling conflicts with his music career and his participation in the drama The Heirs. The role was subsequently filled by Kim Myung-soo.
