The Magician (2015 South Korean Film)
The Magician (Korean: 조선마술사; RR: Joseonmasoolsa) is a 2015 South Korean period romance film directed by Kim Dae-Seung. The film stars Yoo Seung-Ho and Go Ara in the lead roles.

Plot
The story follows Hwan-Hee (Yoo Seung-Ho), a skilled magician performing in the Moorangroo district of Uiji during the Joseon Dynasty. Hwan-Hee carries the trauma of an abusive childhood under the tutelage of Gwi-Mol (Kwak Do-Won), a cruel magician from the Qing Dynasty. Hwan-Hee and his companion Bo-Eum (Jo Yoon-Hee) escaped Gwi-Mol's control, though they remain fearful of his eventual return.
Cheong-Myung (Go Ara), a princess of the Joseon Dynasty, is traveling to the Qing Dynasty for an arranged marriage. While passing through Uiji, she encounters Hwan-Hee near a mountain cliff. Unaware of her royal status, Hwan-Hee falls in love with her, while Cheong-Myung is drawn to his free-spirited nature. Their romance is complicated by political conspiracies and the looming threat of Gwi-Mol, who seeks to track down his former pupils.
