Simultaneously, Young-Gwang (Yeo Jin-Goo), a young North Korean soldier and member of a tank crew, becomes the sole survivor of his unit following a bombing. While attempting to return home, he discovers the document lost by Nam-Bok. The two soldiers eventually encounter one another, leading to a confrontation on the western front.
