The King (Korean: 더 킹; RR: Deo King) is a 2017 South Korean crime drama film written and directed by Han Jae-rim. The narrative centers on Park Tae-soo, a man who overcomes a difficult upbringing to become a prosecutor, eventually seeking to climb the ranks of power by aligning himself with the influential Han Kang-sik.

The film was directed by Han Jae-rim, who also served as a producer alongside Lee Jong-ho. Principal photography for the project commenced on February 4, 2016, and concluded on July 3, 2016. The film was distributed by Next Entertainment World and released in South Korea on January 18, 2017, with a total runtime of 134 minutes.

At the 38th Blue Dragon Film Awards, Kim So-jin won the award for Best Supporting Actress, while Shin Min-kyung received the award for Best Film Editing. Zo In-sung was honored with a Popularity Award at the same event. Additionally, Ryu Jun-yeol received the Best New Actor award at the 1st The Seoul Awards.
