The Interviewees (2020)

The Interviewees (Korean: 구직자들; RR: Gujikjadeul) is a South Korean science fiction drama film released on November 12, 2020. The film was written and directed by Hwang Song-Jae, with production handled by Jung Pil-Joo and cinematography by Seo Myung-Sung.

Plot

Set in a futuristic version of Seoul in the year 2200, the narrative follows two men navigating the city in search of employment. The first protagonist is a middle-aged man, portrayed by Jung Kyung-Ho, who faces personal hardship after ceasing payments for his sick child's health insurance. He is accompanied by a young cloned man, played by Kang You-Seok, who is searching for the purpose and meaning of his own existence.
