The Impossible Heir (Korean: 로얄로더; RR: Royal Loader) is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2024. The drama, directed by Min Yeon-Hong and written by Choi Won, was released on Disney+ and consists of 12 episodes.

Plot

The narrative centers on the lives of three individuals from disparate backgrounds who become intertwined through their ambitions. Han Tae-O (played by Lee Jae-Wook) is a high school student burdened by a difficult family history, specifically the stigma surrounding his father's criminal past. He eventually crosses paths with Kang In-Ha (Lee Jun-Young), an illegitimate son of a wealthy family that controls the Kango Group. Despite their different social standings, the two form an alliance. As they transition into adulthood, Kang In-Ha seeks to claim his place within the Kango Group, while Han Tae-O aims to achieve personal success. Their plans are complicated by the arrival of Na Hye-won (Hong Su-Zu), a woman navigating her own financial struggles.
