The Husband, also known by its literal Korean title The Completion of Marriage (Korean: 결혼의 완성; revised romanization: Gyeolhonui Wanseong), is a South Korean television drama series broadcast on KBS2.

Production and Broadcast

The series is directed by Kim Jung-Hyun and written by Jung Jae-Ha. It consists of 12 episodes and was scheduled to air from July 4 to August 9, 2026, occupying the Saturday and Sunday 21:20 time slot on KBS2. The network slot was previously occupied by To My Beloved Thief and followed by A Love Other Than Yours beginning on September 12, 2026.

Plot Synopsis

The story follows Kang Tae-Ju, a neurosurgeon and the director of Woorihamgge Hospital, who is married to Ko Se-Yun, the chairwoman of the hospital. After Kang Tae-Ju informs his wife of his desire for a divorce, Ko Se-Yun is kidnapped the following day. Consequently, Kang Tae-Ju finds himself cast as both a fugitive suspected of the kidnapping and a pursuer working to save his wife.
