The Greatest Love (2011 South Korean Television Series)
The Greatest Love (Korean: 최고의 사랑; RR: Choigowei Sarang) is a South Korean television series that aired on MBC from May 4 to June 23, 2011. The romantic comedy was written by the Hong sisters, Hong Mi-ran and Hong Jung-eun, and directed by Park Hong-kyun and Lee Dong-yoon. The series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 21:55.

Plot
The series follows the lives of two public figures: Dok Ko-jin, a top-tier actor, and Ku Ae-jung, a former member of the popular girl group National Treasure Girls who is now struggling to maintain her career as a D-list celebrity. The narrative centers on their developing relationship, which is complicated by public perception, past scandals, and the presence of other figures, including a successful former pop idol and a doctor of traditional Asian medicine.


Production
The series was originally titled Aejungui Balgyun, which translates to The Discovery of Affection. It occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot on MBC, following the conclusion of Royal Family and preceding the broadcast of Heartstrings.
