The Great Wish

The Great Wish (Korean: 위대한 소원; RR: Widaehan Sowon), released internationally as The Last Ride, is a 2016 South Korean comedy-drama film written and directed by Nam Dae-Joong. The film follows the story of three high school friends navigating the challenges of adolescence and mortality.

Plot

The narrative centers on Go-Hwan (Ryu Deok-Hwan), a high school student diagnosed with a terminal illness. As his health declines, he expresses a final wish to experience sexual intimacy before he passes away. His two closest friends, Nam-Joon (Kim Dong-Young) and Gab-Duk (Ahn Jae-Hong), take it upon themselves to help him achieve this goal, leading to a series of comedic and poignant situations.
