The Girl Who Sees Smells (South Korean Drama)
The Girl Who Sees Smells (Korean: 냄새를 보는 소녀; RR: Naemsaereul Boneun Sonyeo) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from April 1 to May 21, 2015. The drama, which consists of 16 episodes, was directed by Baek Soo-Chan and written by Lee Hee-Myung. It is based on the webcomic of the same name by Man Chwi, which began serialization in 2013.

Premise
The story follows two individuals whose lives are connected by a tragic event known as the "Bar Code" murder case. Choi Moo-Gak, a man who lost his younger sister in the incident, has been unable to feel physical sensations since the tragedy. Oh Cho-Rim, a survivor of the same case, lost her memory but developed the unique ability to visualize smells as distinct colors and shapes.
Production
The series was developed for the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot on SBS, succeeding Hyde Jekyll, Me and preceding Mask. The project was originally titled Gamgaknamnyeo (Sensory Couple) before reverting to its original title. The first script reading was held in early March 2015 at the SBS Ilsan Production Center.
