The Ghost Detective

The Ghost Detective (Korean: 오늘의 탐정; RR: Oneului Tamjung) is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS2 from September 5 to October 31, 2018. The horror-thriller series was directed by Lee Jae-Hoon and written by Han Ji-Wan.

Plot

The story follows Lee Da-Il, a former military officer turned private investigator who was discharged following a whistleblower case. He is joined by his assistant, Jung Yeo-Wool, a determined and fearless woman. Together, they investigate various cases, including those involving supernatural elements, while seeking the truth behind the death of Yeo-Wool's younger sibling.

Production

The series was originally developed under the working title A Few Good Men. It occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 22:00 time slot on KBS2, succeeding Your House Helper and preceding Feel Good To Die. Due to the Chuseok holiday, the broadcast of episodes 13 and 14 was rescheduled from September 26, 2018, to September 27, 2018.
