The Five (2013 South Korean Film)

The Five (Korean: 더 파이브) is a 2013 South Korean thriller film directed by Jung Yeon-Sik. The film is based on the webcomic The 5ive Hearts, which was also written by Jung Yeon-Sik and serialized from April 6, 2011, to October 31, 2011.

Plot

The story follows Eun-A, played by Kim Sun-A, a woman whose life is shattered after her family is murdered by a serial killer. Consumed by the need for revenge, she recruits four individuals who are marginalized by society and in desperate need of organ transplants to assist in her plan.

Production

Production for the film commenced on February 14, 2013. Principal photography concluded on May 8, 2013, at a set located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The final scene filmed for the production featured lead actress Kim Sun-A.
