The Fiery Priest
The Fiery Priest (Korean: 열혈사제; RR: Yeolhyeolsaje) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from February 15 to April 20, 2019. The series is notable for being the first SBS drama to occupy the Friday and Saturday 22:00 time slot.

Premise
The narrative centers on an investigation into the death of a senior Catholic priest. The central characters include Kim Hae-Il (Kim Nam-Gil), a Catholic priest known for his sharp tongue and volatile temperament; Gu Dae-Young (Kim Sung-Kyun), a timid and talkative detective; and Park Kyung-Sun (Lee Ha-Nee), an ambitious and skilled prosecutor. Together, they form an unlikely alliance to solve the case.
Production
The series was directed by Lee Myung-Woo and Park Bo-Ram, with a screenplay written by Park Jae-Bum. The first script reading was held on October 26, 2018, at the SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea. Following the conclusion of The Fiery Priest, the time slot was succeeded by the drama Nokdu Flower on April 26, 2019.
