The End of the World (Korean: 세계의 끝; RR: Segyeui Kkeut) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the network JTBC in 2013. The series, which spans 12 episodes, belongs to the disaster genre and explores the societal and medical implications of a mysterious, rapidly spreading disease.

Plot
The narrative centers on the emergence of a mysterious and deadly disease. Kang Joo-Heon, portrayed by Yoon Je-Moon, is an official from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He leads the investigation into the outbreak, attempting to identify the source and nature of the pathogen through a process of reverse tracing.
Production
The series was directed by An Pan-Seok. It is based on the novel Infectious Disease (Jeonyeombyeong) by author Bae Young-Ik, which was published on December 25, 2010, by Screen Seller. The television adaptation was written by Park Hye-Ryeon.
