The Duo (2011 South Korean Television Series)
The Duo (Korean: 짝패; RR: Jjakpae) is a South Korean period drama series that aired on the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) network in 2011. The series, which consists of 32 episodes, was broadcast from February 7 to May 24, 2011, in the Monday and Tuesday 21:55 time slot.
Plot
The narrative centers on two men who are switched at birth and subsequently raised in vastly different social environments. The story begins with the birth of a child to the noble Kim Jin-Sa, whose wife dies during childbirth. Simultaneously, a slave named Map-Soon gives birth to a son in a beggar's hut. Due to circumstances involving the need for a wet nurse for the noble family's child, Map-Soon is taken to serve in the household of Kim Jin-Sa. Eventually, she switches the two infants, causing her biological son, Chun-Dong, to be raised in poverty, while Gwi-Dong, the son of the noble family, is raised in wealth.

Production
