The Devil's Deal (Korean: 대외비; RR: Daewebi) is a 2023 South Korean political crime thriller directed by Lee Won-Tae. The film explores the cutthroat nature of local politics in Busan, focusing on a candidate's desperate attempt to secure a seat in the National Assembly.

Plot
Jeon Hae-Woong (Cho Jin-Woong) is a local politician in Busan who expects to secure a nomination for the National Assembly. His ambitions are thwarted when he is abandoned by Kwon Soon-Tae (Lee Sung-Min), a powerful and influential political power broker who operates behind the scenes. Denied the nomination, Hae-Woong decides to run as an independent candidate. To fund his campaign and gain leverage, he obtains confidential documents regarding local redevelopment plans and forms a risky alliance with a gang boss named Kim Pil-Do (Kim Moo-Yul). As Hae-Woong gains public support, he finds himself increasingly entangled in a dangerous game with Kwon Soon-Tae, who becomes aware of the sensitive documents in Hae-Woong's possession.
Production
The film was directed by Lee Won-Tae, with a screenplay written by Lee Su-Jin. Principal photography for the project began on April 30, 2020, and concluded on June 1, 2021. The film was distributed by Megabox Plus M and released in South Korea on March 1, 2023.
