The Cursed (South Korean Television Series)

The Cursed (Korean: 방법; RR: Bangbeob) is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2020. The series consists of 12 episodes and was broadcast from February 10 to March 17, 2020, in the Monday and Tuesday 21:30 time slot.

Production

The series was directed by Kim Yong-wan and written by Yeon Sang-ho. It follows the story of Im Jin-hee, a dedicated reporter investigating a violent case involving Forest, a prominent South Korean IT company led by chairman Jin Jong-hyun, who is deeply involved in shamanistic practices. During her investigation, Im Jin-hee encounters Baek So-jin, a young woman possessed by a spirit who possesses unique supernatural abilities.

Cast

The main cast includes Uhm Ji-won as the reporter Im Jin-hee, Jung Ji-so as the spiritually gifted Baek So-jin, Sung Dong-il as the chairman Jin Jong-hyun, and Jo Min-soo as the shamanic consultant Jin Kyung.
