The Childe (2023 Film)

The Childe (Korean: 귀공자; RR: Gwigongja) is a 2023 South Korean action film written and directed by Park Hoon-jung. The film, which had the early working title Sad Tropics (Seulpeun Yeoldae), was released in South Korea on June 21, 2023, and distributed by Next Entertainment World.

Plot

The story follows a young man of mixed Korean and Filipino heritage living in the Philippines. Aspiring to become a professional boxer, he travels to South Korea to locate the father who abandoned him. Upon his arrival, he finds himself entangled with dangerous individuals and caught in a violent pursuit.
